Notes:

  1. Licences issued other than in formal Licensing Rounds, including Segregation Licences and Out-of-Round Licences, are not included here.
  2. One Licence number (P476) was allocated, but in the end was never used.
  3. From the 11th Round on, Licences continue into final term only if development already approved or imminent.
  4. A single application may cover separated areas, leading to more than one Licence, which is why Licences awarded may outnumber applications.
  5. "Blocks" includes parts of blocks.

Acreage offered We recently compiled a list of the Blocks offered in each Round. It can be downloaded here as a 58kB tab-separated ASCII file, and here as a 337kB Excel 2000 file. It comprises three columns showing Quadrant, Block and Round respectively. You can sort, filter or otherwise manipulate the list as you require. Bear in mind that, while we have tried to make the list as accurate as possible, we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Also bear in mind that precise Block designations are temporary, and may be ambiguous when comparing different dates (for instance, 14/28b in 1990 may not have been the same area as it was in 1980; and it may have been offered earlier still as part of 14/28).
